This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Skyland ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our") handles information. The short version: Skyland does not ask for your name, email, or any account. It collects a limited amount of anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the Game, and nothing else.

1. Information We Collect

The Game uses Unity Analytics, a service provided by Unity Technologies, to understand how the Game is played. When you play, the following information is collected automatically:

Gameplay events contain no personal information — they record what happened in the Game, never who you are. The Game does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, or advertising identifiers.

2. How We Use This Information

Analytics data is used solely to:

We do not use this data for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we never sell it to anyone.

3. Analytics Provider

Analytics data is processed on our behalf by Unity Technologies and stored on Unity's servers. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). You can read more about how Unity handles player data here:

4. Data Stored on Your Device

Skyland saves your game progress — such as your world, inventory, and settings — locally on your device. This information:

5. Ads, Accounts, and Purchases

The Game contains:

6. Data Sharing

Analytics data is shared only with Unity Technologies, acting as our data processor as described in Section 3. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or any other third party. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.

7. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained on Unity's servers for a limited period in accordance with Unity's data retention practices, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Aggregated statistics (which cannot identify any device) may be kept longer.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data. Because analytics data is keyed to anonymous identifiers rather than your identity, the most practical right is deletion: if you would like the analytics data associated with your device deleted, contact us at the address below and we will arrange deletion with Unity. You can also turn analytics off (or on) at any time using the Privacy button in the Game's main menu, and analytics is only ever active if you choose "Allow" when first asked.

9. Children's Privacy

Skyland is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the Game and that data about their device has been collected, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Permissions

Skyland requests only the minimum permissions required to run: internet access (used solely for the analytics described above) and what the operating system needs to save your local game progress. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, or contacts.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if a future version of the Game adds features that change how information is handled. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
